Crime Stoppers and the Gatineau Police Service are seeking your assistance in the identification of the suspect(s) involved in a case of arson that occurred in Gatineau.
On January 30, 2007 toward 6:00am in the early morning a fire erupted in the premises located at 176 Eddy Street in the Hull sector of Gatineau. By the time the fire officers arrived on the scene the intensity of the blaze was such that several reinforcements were necessary.
Unfortunately the fire completely destroyed the Marazul, a restaurant that was housed in the same building. Detectives investigating the fire noted that it had been set in a number of places and gasoline had been used to start the blaze.
No suspects have been identified and police are seeking the public’s help with any information on this crime.
