Crime Stoppers and the Gatineau Police Service are seeking your assistance in the identification of the suspect involved in a case of robbery that occurred in Gatineau.
On the 02 March 2006, at about 6PM, the building manager was leaving 18 Orleans Street in the Gatineau sector. He was carrying a briefcase, which contained the month’s rents for the apartment building.
He proceeded towards the parking area where he had left his car. As he was entering the vehicle he was suddenly struck on the right hand by a hammer wielded by the suspect. The victim was hurt and dropped the case containing the money. The suspect then picked up the leather case and ran off with it.
The suspect was most likely seen earlier in the same area of Orleans Street. He was carrying a hammer and was wearing a dark green jacket with a hood and black pants. His age is not known.
